The launch of Tartan Venture Ltd has also brought the opportunity for the company to contribute towards charitable causes which are associated with Celtic heritage both in the UK and overseas.
A charity which is close to our heart and requiring immediate support is The Gordon Highlanders Museum in Aberdeen, Scotland.
There is currently a fund raising activity taking place to maintain the development of the museum and to secure its long term future.
For our part, Tartan Venture Ltd will make a personal donation to the museum on every product we sell.
We welcome all visitors to our website to review The Gordon Highlanders website and in particular the Fundraising Campaign 2017 page where a direct contribution can also be made, all donations to the museum are most gratefully received.
A visit to the museum is a wonderful day out and a great place to immerse oneself in the history of one of Scotland’s regiments, indeed Sir Winston Churchill declared in 1900 that The Gordon Highlanders was "The Finest Regiment in the World”
To celebrate the launch of Tartan Venture and to help raise additional funds for the museum, we will soon be offering for sale to the highest bidder our newly designed Hands Across the Sea - North America tartan kilt/s and a framework portraying the tartan Certificate of Registration and the tartan design. The new owner will inherit the right of ownership and the thread count details for the design. Keep a look out for this offer in the next edition of Celtic Life International.
